I got into design
by noticing things.

Why does one app feel effortless and another feel like a negotiation? Why can the same information feel urgent or invisible depending on where it sits on a screen? These questions started bothering me long before I had a word for them.

I studied Civil Engineering at NIT Calicut. There’s a small irony I’ve made peace with: one of my most formative projects was designing a structural analysis tool for civil engineers, my own people, essentially. The degree taught me to think in systems. Design taught me that the system includes the person.

The projects that shaped me most aren’t the prettiest ones. They’re the ones with real constraints and real stakes.

At Arogo AI, I worked on a healthcare SaaS platform where the users weren’t tech-savvy consumers. They were clinical staff who needed information fast and couldn’t afford confusion. Every extra click had a cost that wasn’t metaphorical.

Before that, a structural analysis platform for civil engineers taught me something I carry everywhere: experts are not impressed by interfaces that dumb things down. They’re impressed by interfaces that get out of the way without losing precision. That’s a much harder problem.

Now I’m at a stealth startup, doing the early-stage thing, where design is half craft and half conviction, and you have to be right about what matters before you know what matters.

I’m based in Indore. I’m interested in fintech, healthcare, and any product where the stakes are high enough that bad design has a real cost.

Things I believe

  • 01

Design that can't be explained is decoration.

  • 02

The best interfaces feel inevitable, not impressive.

  • 03

Complexity is a tax. Good design reduces it without hiding it.

  • 04

If you don't understand the user's job, you're guessing.
